What is powder-coating?
Powder coating is a type of dry coating, which is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. This process of powder coating makes the Deckster™ bracket durable, long lasting and rust resistant. This coating also protects the bracket from the Alkaline Copper Quarternary (ACQ) found in treated wood.
Does Deckster™ pull up from the joist due to environmental shifting?
Deckster™’s unique design keeps the deck from shifts due to the environmental changes unlike other deck brackets that can start pulling up from the joist.
Does Deckster™ require special screws?
No special screws are required! Basic powder coated screws found at your local hardware store are all you need.
Do the Deckster™ brackets show through the deck board gaps?
Due to Deckster™’s brown powder-coated coating it blends in with the deck boards making it invisible to the naked eye.
