What is powder-coating?
Powder coating is a type of dry coating, which is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. This process of powder coating makes the DecksterT bracket durable, long lasting and rust resistant. This coating also protects the bracket from the Alkaline Copper Quarternary (ACQ) found in treated wood.
Does DecksterT pull up from the joist due to environmental shifting?
DecksterT's unique design keeps the deck from shifts due to the environmental changes unlike other deck brackets that can start pulling up from the joist.
Does DecksterT require special screws?
No special screws are required! Basic powder coated screws found at your local hardware store are all you need.
Do the DecksterT brackets show through the deck board gaps?
Due to DecksterT's brown powder-coated coating it blends in with the deck boards making it invisible to the naked eye.
