Must have backyard item.
Bought 2 of these in the black finish and love them. Excellent way to extend our backyard season! Very happy with both aesthetics and heating.

Easy to Assemble
Assembly was straight forward and didn't even take an hour from start to finish. Suggest a step ladder be on hand to attach the top part of the unit. One suggestion is to have a door on the lower part of the unit to access the gas valve, rather than having to lift the whole lower unit up each time.

Bought at Costco
Not difficult to build, even though the instructions were inaccurate (parts CC, DD & HH were already installed, and we had to remove them and than use them properly). Also, the instructions call for AAA battery "not included" to be installed, not clearly explaining how to and it ended up already in place. Maybe our box was previously opened (no other signs for it, though) or the company changed their packaging without updating the instructions. The note about purging the lines seemed important, maybe it should be highlighted more in the instructions. But once assembled, it is easy to operate and does the job. We only used it once up to now, realized we have to write a review for the extended warranty so better do it now before forgetting and letting the first 30 day pass.

Heater works well, customer service not so much.
Product arrived on time as promised. After removing from box found tank housing finish damaged. Contacted customer support at JR Home who promised exceptional customer service. Not so exceptional service followed. Was told they had not spare parts to replace tank housing and no idea when they might. Completed assembly and have used the unit once. I will give the unit a 4 star rating but the overall experience with JR gets one star. Response: Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with our customer service. Our supply chain has been affected by COVID which makes it difficult to determine when we will get spare parts in. We apologize for this inconvenience and will continue to improve and do our best to deliver a better experience for our customers.

Great patio heater and fabulous after sales service from JR Home!!
We ordered 2 of these units and we absolutely love them. They dissipate an amazing amount of heat!! After sales services is also outstanding. We purchased these units from Costco.ca, however one of the regulators was leaking. We emailed the support address provided in the packaged literature, and within 24 hours, JR Home responded. Within 4 days, we received a new regulator and its working beautifully! Thank you JR Home!!

Appears to be a good product however issues with Quality Control and Company Responsiveness
I purchased this unit from Home Depot Canada online. Shipping was prompt with the unit arriving within 2 days to my door step. Instructions and assembly were also good and straightforward. After assembly however, I noticed that the outer cover for the propane tank had a significant scratch / blemish which had been covered up (partially) with what appeared to be a marker. Being a brand new unit, this is not something I would have expected or to have been passed through QC. Unsure what to say or rate this product as I emailed JRhome directly as instructed in the included manual last night, however have yet to receive a response. Response: Thanks for sharing your feedback. We apologize that there were some issues with the cover. We will respond back to your message as soon as possible.

Excellent Customer Service and Product
Just a followup to my previous review - I was contacted by JRhome who shipped me a replacement cover in rapid time. Customer service was excellent - highly recommend this product now based on both build and service received directly from the manufacturer on this. Heating is great as well - allowed us to enjoy some cooler nights outside, which would have been spent inside otherwise.

Exactly what we were hoping for.
Just what I wanted. Box from store was small enough to easily fit in car. Good assembly instructions and easy to assemble - if taking the protective plastic off the heat shield was the hardest part, that's a pretty easy assembly. Quite an attractive colour that complimented our brown tones in the back yard. good safety features like a chain to hold the tank in place and apparently the gas valve shuts off if it tips over. Has a thick plastic ballast at the bottom that can be filled with sand for added stability - though it seems fairly stable so far without it. Easy to hook up the propane and easy to light and use. Our first use was a slightly blustery +5 celsius day and it kept the chill off for the 2.5 hrs we used it that day. I can only imagine it will provide even more comfort come spring time. I had no idea something so good could be so reasonably priced and recommend that anyone interested in getting a patio heater should consider this model.

Great patio heater
Excellent price and delivery service from Costco. Took a little while for assembly but have been using for a few days now and it is great. Heats up instantly and quickly for my back patio. Highly recommend.

Nice unit to add to your house
I ordered this heater on December 4, 2022, from the Costco website, it took a week before it was delivered on December 9, 2022, so yeah it was delivered before Christmas day. we kept it sitting in its box till this week January 11, 2023, due to the extremely cold weather we having here. unfortunately, after assembling the unit 2 days ago and being super excited to turn it on, the ignitor didn't work! therefore I called customer service today and the lady on the phone was super nice, understanding, and helpful. she promised to send me a new ignitor plus she guided me throw how to use it and gave me a few tips on how to take care of this heater. Now I'm waiting for the part to arrive so we start to enjoy using it. Sam
