Infrared Heater Thermostat Replacement

If your infrared heater (IR) is turning itself off after only being on for a brief period you may need to replace the thermostat. This should only be done after the tilt switch is checked. (Located in black box on the head) Please shake the unit to make sure the ball is in the correct position as it could be dislodged during shipping.


The box also needs to be positioned correctly as shown in the instruction manual. If this does not work the thermostat is located in the black box and please see the below instructions to replace it.


To remove the existing thermostat:

You just need to loosen up the two screws and disconnect the wires .
