If your Premium wall mount electric fireplace's flame is frozen or rotating intermittently the unit will have to be opened up and checked to see if anything is blocking the flame rotary drum.

Please find below the service manual to complete this task.

Once you have it opened up please turn it on again and see what is happening. Is there a wire that has fallen between? If not and the freezing continues check the rotary motor as the flame rotary drum could have been installed too tight when it was assembled. Please bend the bracket (the vertical one that holds between the motor and the rotary drum and separate them a bit.

Also to eliminate a circuit board issue can the flame colours still be controlled while they are frozen?

If the issue still exists and you can still control the flame colours then the rotary motor (flame illusion motor) has to be replaced using the service manual.
